Abstract:
Well control case histories - How they recover from Well control incidents from one of the worlds leading Well Control specialists.
Biography:
Wayne Stennes experience in developing and implementing strategies and tactics on major industrial and marine emergencies, which have included; storage tank fires, petrochemical facility fires, road and railway transportation emergencies involving bulk fuel carriers and Hazardous Materials Response.
He served as a member of the Conoco Global Emergency Incident Response Team.
Experience in the design and implementation of industrial fire & safety training programs, including; SCBA, H2S Rescue, CSE, Industrial Rescue, ICS, and Emergency Incident Management.
27 years experience in offshore and land based oil & gas well blowouts in Canada as well as throughout the Middle East, Former Soviet Union Countries and SE Asia.
Experience in Hot Tap & Freeze operations.
Participate in the 1991 Kuwait Fires Project.
Fire Team Leader on the Aden Refinery Company facility fires during the 1993 Yemen civil war.
